As Baron Victor Frankenstein seeks refuge in a Boarding House, a former fellow-scientist who resides in a nearby asylum is slowly dying by lack of oxygen to the brain. After discovering the landlady and her lover are both drug-addicts, Frankenstein blackmails them into helping him save his friend by transferring his brain into another body. While he recovers, the trio relocate him to a deserted manor where he awakens, horrified by what was done to him. The creature seeks revenge after returning to be with his wife, who is too terrified to believe he is her husband. MT
