Dealing with an alternate future where Biff is his step-dad and his mother’s a pathetic alcoholic, Marty realises that he has to go back to the past – again – to fix things once more for the future. It gets a little more convoluted in Part 2 but that just makes it all the more awesome. The film that made everyone want a hover board and self-lacing sneakers offers still one of the coolest visions of a future that, even if a little dated, everyone ought to see. TJ
